
Francine
is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and the only certified manual therapist
in the Roanoke Valley. A physical therapist since 1988 and in the Valley
in private practice since 1995.
Now with Back to Basics Family Physical Therapy, Francine is focused on providing specialized care in general orthopedics, with a particular interest in women's health issues. Francine recently completed board certification as a clinical orthopedic specialist.
With her personal time, Francine enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Jeff
is responsible for managing the administrative, marketing and other business
functions of Back to Basics. His years of experience in the insurance industry
are a valuable asset when handling our customer's claims.
When away from the office, Jeff enjoys listening to music and spending time with his wife and four children.

Kelly
is a 1997 graduate of Averett University with a Bachelor’s in physical education.
In addition to her work for the past six years as a physical therapy technician/exercise
physiologist, she brings a wealth of sports training to her role at Back
to Basics. Kelly has recently completed her license as a massage therapist
and is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and body work. She now
offers these services at Back to Basics.
When not exercising her Weimeraner, Abby, Kelly enjoys interior design, planting outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Jackie
brings to Back to Basics 25+ years in the medical field with billing, marketing
and office administration experience. The last seven years specializing in
Physical Therapy and Durable medical equipment.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She loves working outdoors, listening to music and motivational speakers.

Jennifer is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and a recent graduate from Jefferson College of Health Science. She also has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and a Minor in Sports and Exercise Science from Radford University. She has worked as a teacher's assistance at a local daycare as well as a bank teller.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her new husband, family and friends. She also loves music, traveling, playing volleyball, and photography.
Colleen Carrell, R.Y.T, C.C is a certified and registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, as well as a Wellness Coach. She has taught yoga for over 7 years in the Roanoke Valley. She has a gentle approach with students as they explore the many health benefits of yoga together, whether in a class or one-on-one. Colleen offers a specialized class for individuals with chronic pain or illness.
Colleen’s outside interests include walking, hiking with her family, community and environmental service, traveling, and creating or going on retreats.
Kate, a Certified Pilates instructor, graduated from Medical College of Georgia School of Physical Therapy in 1979 and has practiced in acute, out-patient, home health and in-patient rehab settings.
After 30 years of physical therapy practice, Kate is now focusing her professional energy towards wellness and functional fitness. Kate and her husband have lived in Roanoke for over 20 years. She enjoys time with family, running, reading and painting.
Nancy is a licensed physical therapist with 24 years of experience in Orthopaedics, Acute Care, Neurology, Geriatrics, Manual Therapy, Lymphedema and Sports Medicine.
She has a Bachelor of Science from University of Pittsburg, where she was Vice President of her class and chosen to represent the Southwest District of Pennsylvania at the 1987 APTA Student Conclave.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, singing, playing piano, gardening, enjoying the great outdoors and visiting family in her home state of West Virginia.
Kristi is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 15 years of experience in general orthopedics. She is a 1997 summa cum laude graduate of The Jefferson College of Health Sciences and a 1994 graduate of Roanoke College where she became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Kristi is dedicated to helping active people get back to their active lifestyle. She also has a primary interest in overall wellness and loves guiding and coaching patients to achieve their full potential.
In her spare time, Kristi enjoys early morning runs with her black Lab and spending time with her husband and two very active, young boys.
